Synthesis & investigation of Sulphoxides

The aim of my research is to stnthesize and investigate the properties of enantiopure and racemic sulphoxides. Of particular interest are sulphoxides with a terminal acetylenic proton. X-ray crystallography is being used to investigate the properties of these novel sulphoxide compounds.
