'Tailor-made' additives for the control of crystal polymorphism
Inability to control the supramolecular chemistry of crystals is a serious difficulty for pharmaceuticals, foods and many other fine chemical applications. The objectives of this project, under the supervision of Dr. H. A. Moynihan, is to pioneer rational methods for controlling crystal polymorphism. Crystallization controlling agents such as these would have many applications in crystal dependant technologies.
